I was just wondering what oil is trecommended for the 2.1 TD engine I have in my Xantia, at the moment Asda is doing a great deal on Castrol GTX again, 10 quid for 4 litres!
but I dont know whether to get 10/40 or 15/40? thoughts?

I have a maintenance manual and for the 2.1 engine it does say 10W40 and uses 4.7L and 0.3L for the filter.
Typical they sell the oil in 4L containers.
