Ta very much. Thought it would raise a few smiles, perhaps we're selling ours too cheap!

We are and always have but it's all down to what the market will stand...

The write-up for that car is very suggestive of it having suffered a cambelt failure...

Lot of money for a car missing a wheeltrim :roll:

The other side of the coin, a RHD Xantia languishing in France - a reasonable price in France for the mileage, but still expensive in UK terms.

You lot in the UK are spoiled..... This is a search for Xantia HDI in price order starting at 4k Euros. http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/offres ... 20hdi&sp=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The LHD cars in the UK are no cheaper than here strange really as to import them you need new lights and a long drive to collect it. Seems loads of UK based people want LHD ? The Uk one has 150k miles, for that price no thanks.
French people buy UK cars, but not for the price they are asking, they buy them because they are cheap so for the one advertised here it would be less than 1000 Euros if they want to sell it. A RHD car costs no more on insurance, and is handy for country lanes as you are on the right side to see where the massive drainage ditches are.

Mine with 110k miles cost me 2500 euros, about £2150 at the moment, about the right price here.
