Hi, I own a xantia 2000 HDI and I had to change the front brake pads because they were worn out. The change went painful without any problems, but after the repair the ABS has stopped working - the ABS light is not on, but the pedal simply doesn't strike back and the wheels lock full on - its pritty icy in Norway. Has anyone got a clue what it might be?

My first thoughts point towards the handbrake cables being caught in the hoop above the hub causing the pads to be pushed against the disc.
