Hi, welcome to the Forum.

- hopefully you won't have many problems!

At present, many Forum members have Xantia, which I'd guess is where the most experience lies, but C5 ownership is becoming more popular as the older Citroens disappear to come back painted white as washing machines etc. Some C5s do high mileages without too many gremlins, and hopefully yours is one of those :) :)

Good luck with it - Martin

Welcome bikerbadge :welc:

What model/spec C5 have you bought. Some have problems specific to the type.
It is generally the electronics that give problems.

Welcome to the C5’s automatic headlights because it’s meant to have them.
Push the button at the tip of the left stalk until it dingles and the auto lights will be back.

Welcome to the FCF and C5 owhership :-D

Im surprised it has auto wipers being an LX, as they didn't get them. If it has auto wipers it will have auto lights too. As Clogzz says, put the ignition to the 'service' position, push and hold the end of the indicator stalk until it bongs.

Does your LX have the slightly larger central display screen on top of the dash? Which tells you MPG etc. If not they are easily added.

The 2.0HDi is an excellent engine, you shouldn't have much bother with that. Have you got the 90 or 110bhp?
