307 towbar plug and play

what if any is the diference between the dedicated towbar harnnes for 01-Aplril 05 and later that this,

as there is one listted on ebay as above and my freinds 307 is the 6th month of 05,

An early 307 will be VAN/CAN multiplexing & the later ones will be full CAN.
A VAN/CAN type can be fitted as normal splicing into the loom without any relays, a full CAN one will need a dedicated relay or you will get problems with bulb failure detection etc.
You can tell if the car is full CAN or not by the ignition switch, A full CAN car has no accesories position, just off, ignition then start. VAN/CAN type is normal off, accesories,ignition then start.
