Does anyone have the kerb weight figures or car actual weight figures for a Series 1.5 XM (any model as engine will be removed) and a Xantia hdi 110 (s2 obviously)

Took some finding but there was this on the .com site Paul

Hi all

Right...........

XM 2.0 8v auto hatch with 13gals of fuel:

with driver (80kg)

FRONT AXLE, 980kg
REAR AXLE, 580kg
TOTAL, 1560kg

Without driver

FRONT AXLE, 940kg
REAR AXLE, 540kg
TOTAL, 1480kg

Thanks dean.. 1480kgs will do for the xm.. Just need the xantia one now.. Oooo might have the xantia handbook in the car....

110 HDi from the handbooks..

ULW 1361 Kg
GVW 1910 Kg
GTW 3400 Kg (Gross Train weight)
Gross Trailer Weight (Braked) 1500 Kg
Nose Weight 85 Kg

So, if you're thinking of towing an XM bodyshell behind a Xantia, forget it unless you have a trailer made of such space age material that it weighs less then 20 Kg...
