1.9 TD aux belt tentioner pulley

Well this notorious pulley is beginning to make the "I'm soon gonna chuck it" noise at start up. I contacted GSF today but they say they don't do these - dealer only I'm told. Is this true? does anyone know of another place to find this and how much they can be had for?

if this is the self adjusting tensioiner on a spring loafded swinging arm they used to sell the hole unit,
try giveing Vince on here a shout as he is/was the manager of the Liverpool branch,

or get the OE part No. and aim that at GSF,

Used to be pleanty of them listed on ebay.. Ive had a couple from there and found them good... Theres two types of pully fitted depending on year.. A metal one on P to early R S1's or plastic on S2 td engines...

The hdi usesa much much much better improoved "normal" sensible tensioner...

If this is the belt tensioner itself then as yours is a very early one without (I assume) aircon the tensioner will be of the manual variety and certainly dealer only.

Thanks folks, the ebay one is the right one - just found a place here called AEP who also have them for a similar cost.
