S2 Prestige Spotted!

Does this belong to anyone here? Spotted today near Regents Park in London. Poor thing needs a good clean - was almost tempted to do it myself...

Im pretty sure the owner of that had an xm he sold about 2 years ago maybe 3? had it on ebay and i think i remember the pictures were of it in the same place.

They were available in Florentine Robert but very rare to see - saying that ALL Prestige's are very rare to see...

I'd say that this is the only Florentine Red Prestige left...

According to Roger's Prestige Register, there was another Florentine Red with Black Leather car that was a dutch LHD car with reg number C180 CFG. Dom reckons that it was sold on eBay to an Italian bidder...

Is Roger's register online somewhere? Am quite curious to know how many Prestige models are left - in particular how many cars like mine there are. I can't imagine many S1 2.5s made it to the UK before the S2 was introduced.

Roger's register was all paper-based on around four sheets of A4 Paper! I have computerised it to make it easier for myself for references now though.

You are quite right that the S1 2500 cars are rare - most are the 2400. On Roger's register there are 10 1984 Model Year cars, and 4 1985 Model Year cars. Your's is a B reg isn't it James? Do you know the reg number as I don't think I've still got it on there? Roger created it referencing to the Chassis Numbers. According to the register it's one of three possible Pearl Grey with Beige Daim Leather cars (or if it's the later '85 car then it's Tabac Blond)... Just need to know the last four digits of the Chassis Number and then it will tie in...

I'll find out when I help my welder friend install the new sill on Friday! Registration is B425 FGP. Silver in colour with beige leather. Didn't notice it had air conditioning until recently, either. Standard fitment, I presume.
