Xantia Clunk

Hi, my 1997 Xantia Diesel, When I start the engine , as the front suspension begins to lift there is a clunk noise , coming from the front . Only as the front is about to lift. anyone got any ideas ? cheers Terry .

If you then set the car on low, then normal, does it do it again?

Hi Xac, I have tried it a few times , starting from the low posistion. there is no noise . Incidently the clunk noise does"nt happen every start-up. generally when the car is cold . cheers Terry .
