MK2 Xantia Indicator swtich
Mine has started playing up, in that it doesn't make proper contact if you push it right down for LH indicators - comes on with a light lift. Doesn't really bother me, but it might the MOT man! As you can get the shrouds off on a MK2 without taking the wheel off, can you do the switch? If the wheel does have to come off, I presume it is the same as the MK1, ie 2 T30(?) torx through the back of the wheel?

Pretty sure you can get to the stalks without taking the wheel off.
If you can't, then unlike the MK1, it's held on with a torx bolt rather than a nut.
Same rule applies though, undo it most of the way but keep the bolt in, then pull on the wheel, that way you shouldn't whack yourself in the face when it comes off

Good news, Wheel doesn't have to come offRichardW wrote:... As you can get the shrouds off on a MK2 without taking the wheel off, can you do the switch? If the wheel does have to come off, ...
I added some pics in another thread when I had problems with the wiper stalk.
Checking those pics, I can tell that:
- remove 3 torx screws (T20) below and top cover off.
- indicator switch has also 2 torx screws (T10) to be removed.
Last 3 pics in this thread shows the wiper side but I guess they
