I think its an S2 anyway... Its on an 03 Plate, basically the S1 rear end and the facelift front.
Anyway.. had the owner pop to see me, they are complaining of stalling - it wont idle when cold, and also when warm, but not as bad.. Apparently it will cut out on corners too..
I do not have the Renault CLIP diagnostic which is a but of a pain. I realise there could be a number of things, but does anyone have any ideas, or experianced this with an answer???
Thanks
Paul

Re: Stalling Scenic 2 1.4 Petrol 16v
The throttle control sensor incorporates a throttle control motor within for maintaining idling speed approx 750 rpm if you disconnect plug from sensor sensor has 6 pins showing all marked 1 to 6 check resistance between pin's 3 & 4 resistance should be approx between 2 & 8 ohms. The earthing on this throttle control motor is ecu controlled. The 12v feed to the control motor comes from the ecu pin no 2m4 through control motor coil & back to ecu earth at pin no 2m3. Forgot to mention Terminal 4 on throttle plug goes to ecu pin no 2m4. Terminal 3 on throttle plug goes to ecu pin no 2m3 Hth Regards Mickeybo
