boxer steering problem

hi got a boxer 53 plate 2.0 hdi about 2 months ago after a few days of driving round i heard a clunk when i turn the wheel and then the wheels would not go back to straight position unless i stopped and turn the wheel in the other direction. any one got any idea what it could be

Top strut bearings collapsed/siezed, very common failure on the Boxer/Relay.
