I drive a 1.8 petrol C5, model 2003. It has a very annoying noise coming from the power steering system (Citroen told me this), it's like whistling when engine is running under 1500 rpm. Over 1500 rpm the noise disappears.
Do you have similar experiences with this or rumours about Citroen going to fix this?

Mine doesn't do it, and as far as I've noticed, the 2 we had where I used to work didn't do it, neither did the 4 examples I've test driven, and my Dads Estate doesn't do it either!
However none of the above are 1.8 petrol engined models, they cover the whole diesel range and the 2.0 and 3.0 V6 Petrols.
Sounds like a warranty job to me.
