sensor?

whats the sensor connected to the power lead that attaches to the coil pack?

2 litre petrol 8v engine , on my pug 806 - could be same as others i think

The single wire probably on small tiny metal block ? , I think that's just an interference suppressor. Can you post a pic if not that.

its plastic and clips onto the back of the engine mount - might have metal in it; so nowt serious if its not plugged in then?

Not sure from your description. I cannot think of anything in that area, the knock sensor maybe (but that would just bring the "K" light on if it was awol)

it runs out of the `in` lead to the coil pack , so i`ll be thinking its an interference suppressor. thank you :D

now for the clatting from the back end :(

edit: changed teh rear shocks and now theres a clatter from the back doing well , anything :(
