Think of it like this; car manufactures give fuel figures in order to make their car look good. If these things worked then wouldn't manufacturers fit them as standard as it'd be an easy way for them to claim their car is that little bit more efficient.

Yes, they really don't work. In my naivety I bought one years ago and fitted it to my Seat TDi, it made an awful lot of no difference!

I agree with Xac, they would already be fitted if they made any difference at all.

for all the good they do you're better sending your money to the fcf and let the gentle winds of generosity whisk you along using less fuel.

In short, its bollocks.
