Guys if any of you are serious about getting a CX. This is the one to get!

Low mileage white CX's are as common as muck, just a quick look at eBay ATM tells you that

You're just a lightweight when it comes to gearboxes Robert

Anyway, next year is barely a couple of moths away so there's every chance the gearbox will be good nexy year, especially if you don't drive the car....

I have an Automatic XM and an Automatic BX (many wouldn't have one near them). I used to have a pile of Automatic XMs, now the manuals are more plentiful. But I am prepared, I have 4 spare Xm Auto boxes!

Simplicity rules for me! I still love hopping into the automatic XM and wafting along in undisturbed hydractive softness

And the BX auto is superb in its non hydractive softness

What you want now is a nice S2 XM V6 to complete your collection - one with a 4HP20 gearbox

I quite agree about wafting along in a nice automatic with hydractive suspension and cruise engaged.... It takes some beating
