Re: Citroën Relay 2.2 hdi 2007??????????
my freind just had to have a brand new engine stuck in his 08 plate relay 2.2 ford lump van,
the dealer said an injector had faild which killed the engine,
£7K ish later/lighter
it had a 3 year dealer warenty which two of coverd every thing then the third year was main components up to 1000K,
he had done 130K but citroen did cover £3K,
only a month earlier they had to fit a new EGR valve, now about three months on they have fitted another new EGR valve,
very strange i thought,
regards malcolm

Not really, the new transits with that engine eat EGR valves, ford have tried lots of things, modified valves, adding water cooling to the valves, software updates but they still seem to suffer from EGR problems.citronut wrote:only a month earlier they had to fit a new EGR valve, now about three months on they have fitted another new EGR valve,
