erg valve replacement

Hi
how do you remove the egr valve for replacement ?
Do i have to remove the metal pipe it attaches to, and what about the corrugated pipe that fits to the egr valve?

That looks like the one-way valve that doesn’t need removing unless there’s exhaust escaping through it.
The EGR valve is item 1, while item 6 is the one-way valve.
The picture is of the petrol car where they use an EGR electrovalve.
Most diesels have a vacuum-operated EGR valve with a single thin pipe.
