leaky boot

Hi,
My 406 coupe seems to accumulate water in the well where the spare wheel is stowed. Any ideas how it could be getting there or how to cure it?

Don't know where it's coming from, but try pouring water over the boot lid at specific places, colouring the water with food dye. If you don't cover too much of the boot at once, it may give you an idea where the water's coming in. Worked for my 205.

you could also get inside the boot with a torch & get someone to hose the back of the car,i would be looking at the boot seal or the seals round the rear lights.
