Xantia interior light

Hi, the bulb has blown on the interior light [passenger side] on my series 1 Xantia. Probably silly question, but, how do I acess the bulb without breaking the plastic cover? many thanks in advance Terry.

the whole unit comes off, and the bulb is changed from behind, use a flat bladed screw driver and you'll see what i mean

To get the unit out you must prise it out from the top as there are a couple of tags at the bottom. Its quite common for the bulb holder to have a poor connection so do the wiggle test before changing the bulb.
