Well there was an incident previously between a Clio and a truck.

So, now another Clio has been involved in close contact with a truck, but did it in a different way!

A friend had read about this in the above paper and told me about it.
I couldn't believe it so took a look to see more.
The first incident which we talked/posted about on here previously was bad enough, but how did this different driver trump that, and locate their car like that behind the trailer landing legs, and then end up infront of the trailer first axle!!
Clio the car of choice for stunt driving with a truck!
Note.... Side underun bars are meant to prevent this type of thing!

I've watched an incident like the first one actually occurring, although in that case the lorry driver knew it and pulled over and stopped on the hard shoulder
The car overtook the lorry and pulled in much too close, so the rear corner of the car hit the front corner of the lorry and flipped the car round sideways.
This of course means the car is facing the other way from the one in the BBC link above, so I assume in that one the car didn't see the lorry overtaking it, maybe on joining the carriageway.

Doesn't look like the truck had any on the side the car went under from.ACTIVE8 wrote: Note.... Side underun bars are meant to prevent this type of thing!
