bouncy xantia

Hi, my Fathers series1 Xantia sprung a leak on the hydraulic pump. I"ve replaced the "o" ring and it"s stopped the leak. I"ve just driven it and found the front suspension to be very bouncy. any one got any ideas? Is the bouncy suspension connected to the earlier pump leak? cheers Terry .

When they get to a bouncy stage its fairly obvious that they are flat and need desperate changing!!

The leak on the pump could also have been forced from a Flat accumilator sphere - Does the regulator on the gearbox "Tick" a lot??
