Anyone had this happen 206

I have a 206 xsi and my throttle is done with a drive by wire so the throttle in done by signals or something, Anyway now and again my pedal stops working engine still runs tho revs just go down to 1000 rpm then i turn key off and back on at it will work again for a bit.

Anyone no why its doing it or anyone had the same trouble?

Might be a bad signal from the potentiometer on the pedal itself. Check the plugs are clean / secure on it, given its location in the footwell its subject to mud / moisture etc off footwear.
