406 clutch

hi all
done the clutch on my 406 today, wot a pig. had hell of a job getting box out and then back in again. tell me do you have to drop the sub frame? on the slave cylinder i've put the pipe back in and the retaining clip now its dripping fluid, have i lost a seal? any idea's?

did you remove the O/S drive shaft before unbolting the gear box,


i usualy leave the slave cylinder conected to its pipe and just move it out of the way,

yes removed both driveshafts. sorted fluid leak thanks

Ron, out of interest how did you disconnect the pipe to the Slave cylinder?

I guess if you've fixed the leak you found the specially shaped O ring was out of place...

How did you end up bleeding it?
