Clio 1.2 16v 2002 lump tick over and real back picking sound

Hi all

Ive got a clio 1.2 16v 2002

ive changed the coil pack and plug due to its got lumpy tick over but while driving there is a picking noise so is the a problem with throttle bodies beaning gunked up

plus im getting fault code p0790 as well

poss throttle body, try cleaning it first, if this dont work there may be a valve problem, as far as i know some of these engines were faulty from new, renault used to change the heads on these becouse the valves would sink to far into the head, this maybe why your getting the pinking noise, have a word with your local renault dealer, there was a note about this problem...

going have good look over weekend been reading on net something about wiring to ecu could be shorting out were wire come through metal box
