C5 Petrol Hesitation Pulling Away

Unread post by mlkey »

Hi,

Noticing a slight issue when pulling away in the C5 2.0L petrol (not a HPI). From a standing start, it is perfect, but if I am moving very slowly (walking pace or less), sometimes, the throttle takes several seconds to respond. It only seems to occur when the car is rolling to a stop, and if I press the throttle before it does stop. Once the car has stop, the response is instant.

Any ideas where to start please?

Thanks.

Start by disconnecting or blanking off the EGR valve.
