Are you able to decode radios with codes that can't be translated from serial numbers by doing some fancy electronic stuff? I have one sat in the garage not doing a lot!
The Clarions fitted to most of the S2 Xantias appear to be like this :(

Before I go on, all I'm doing here is making you aware of a well used topic, as you no doubt realise, a fair chunk of the forum posters are Series 1 Xantia owners and a fair few of us didn't have codes for our radios, so it was only a matter of time before someone came up with a sure fire way of decoding them here.

My way is vin to pin way , on older models you can take the last four digits of the lower set of numbers and say they are 1234 for sake of argument you then add 1 to 1 , 2 to 2 and so on , example is

1 + 1 = 2

2 + 2 = 4

3 + 3 = 6

4 + 4 = 8

so code would be 2468 , except you can`t enter a number above 6 , so any number over 6 you then subtract 6 , which in this case will make the last number 2 ,
so the code would be 2-4-6-2

if that or vin to pin doesn`t work then i`m beat , sorry :(
