I'm astounded. I hope, when he gets out, some relatives of those killed have an 'appropriate' reception waiting for him - I know I would.

At the rate that jails are being closed I'd be surprised if he does more than 2 years inside especially as "tough justice Dave" wants these rioters put inside

From what I can see of the sentencing guidelines, due to the drink, speeding, two fatalities and injury to the other passenger, 7 years should have been the minimum allowable sentence.
Would it be too much to hope the CPS would appeal for a stronger sentence?

She will probably be out in 2, maybe less, due to it being a short term sentence and her pleading guilty.
