'Bout the going rate sadly..

Maybe time for an epetition to sort out all the shysters in the insurance industry/cartel who are growing very rich from milking/fleecing/ripping us all off...

Off with their heads I say...

IMHO. all financial organisations have witnessed what the banks got away with over the last 5 or more years and have thought, we'll have some of that !! And that includes the goverment !

the bloated bloutacrat's are getting fatter, but the work force is getting thinner,

 Don't use comparison websites in the first instance , use them last and only if you have to ...

They can see what you have been quoted by others and will follow suite .

Trawl the net for companies with freephone Numbers TALK to them and KEEP TRYING for a better quote , may take a few hours but will usually be worth it in the end.

Depends on your history , but All of them try it on with renewals , don't be fooled by the over - wrinklies supposed deals either e.g Saga

Look for companies you have not dealt with before , They need your business and £5 profit is better than a lost punter............

I've just bought insurance with Swiftcover, who were cheapest by quite a long way. Going through thier own site came up £100 more expensive than doing it via confused.com though.

They were about £200 cheaper than my renewal quote.

Insurance is extortionate!

Im with Adrian Flux, who appear to be very helpful and can give reasonable prices and find a insurance policy to suit you.

+1 for Adrian Flux , I've got my Dispatch insured with them and my Zx16v on a classic restricted mileage policy which is actually due very soon so I'll see what that comes in at this year , £230 last year so not too bad considering the insurance group it's in
