my new 604

I swapped my manual 604 for an auto.
The manual may well have been the only manual 604 in the country but that's not much consolation for my dodgy left knee.
I think I might now have the oldest surviving 604 in the country. It has different heater controls and the 504 style mirrors which were only on the first few months production.

Nice one, I have pleasant memories of driving a V6 604 many years ago when it came in as a P/X when I used to work at Norman Reeves, the Ford dealer in Uxbridge. My lasting memory is sitting on large very soft velour seats that appeared to sink down forever

I see you live in Ruislip, not far from me, I lived there for 20 years.

Well spotted!

I was too intent on looking at the cars.

Not sure what the bond is under the bay window though. It looks like all headers.. Can't find a name for it...

Could be either bats or headers laid in quarter bond.

Not sure on the other website's fellow who reckoned late 505 V6s had a 4HP22.

The wiper arms look a bit odd, but as far as I can remember (!) only having seen one once "in the metal" once a long time ago (and not at work at PSA at the time) that's normal ? , as the arc/sweep is different ?

Would love to see more pics (inside and out etc) at a future point too

A very nice fleet, the 604 is a very rare car now and I do like Peugeot 607s, must try one some day.
