Chaps
I have finally given up the eternal battle with my Xant. I realise now that I don't have the time, facilities or capability to own one and so it is with regret that I will have to let her go. Given her littany of currrent faults I think it is best that she is quietly put out of her misery and that she goes to the Great Car Factory in the sky.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on here who has tried to help an idiot with the more basic issues I have encountered. Your help and support has been invaluable. Good luck in keeping these things on the road.
Cheers
Alan

Sorry to see you go Alan
It's a wise man who knows when to throw the towel in but please offer the car on here so any good spares may be salvaged from it before she departs for the great Citroen workshop in the sky...
And, finally, we'll see you when you get your next Citroen...
You do know it's inevitable don't you
All the best

Chaps, I have listed the car in the For Sale section, but as I stated in that section I really don't have the space or facilities to strip her down. I know that if I did it would be worth a lot more than she is complete! I apologise for this fact, but circumstances dictate that I can't do it and I do realise that it's sacrilege.
