Hi, I have a set of original citroen alloys off a 1993 1.9TD VSX which are fitted with 195/55 R15 tyres - is it OK to fit 205/60 R15 so I can replace the steel rims on my 2000 HDi which have the 205/60's? i.e. are the rims designed for the HDi wider than the earlier VSX alloys to accomodate the wider 205/60's?
Thanks

Early VSX cars did have very small tyres didn't they!
Yes, 205/60/15 tyres fit perfectly fine on VSX style alloy wheels, those size tyres were standard fit on those wheels at some point. I have 205/60/15 on VSX rim and Activa wheels are the same size, they came with 205/60s from new.
