Help with brake pads / discs

Post by scfc_151 »

Im looking at replacing all of my pads and discs but cant decide whether to buy oem or aftermarket?

Peugeot pads and discs are quite expensive but I want the brakes to feel as good as when the car was new!

Does anyone know who makes peugeots brakes?

cheers

I've bought several sets of pads and discs from ebay over the years, never had a problem. Just look for a quality brand like Mintex, and a seller with decent feedback.

If you mention what model of car you have, there may be someone who has recently bought stuff for the same car, who could give a review.

I've got the impression from dates on a few shop drawings, that Brembo may have designed/spec'd the discs for models in the '90s onwards - if not actually made them.
