obd II compliant??
hi, following up to my antipollution fault that came on my 406 2.0hdi (2001) yesterday on my way home from holiday, can anyone tell me if the car is obd II compliant? I bought a cheap reader for my mrs scenic and cleared the engine fault light but cannot see where it would plug into my car? it was just under the drivers side with the fuses on her car? the antipollution fault light has now gone out and stayed out but I would like to try and do a code read on it to see if it comes up with anything....thanks,dean.....

Being a diesel, your 2001 HDi is NOT OBDII compliant. Petrols went compliant in 2001 but diesels not until 2003.
You'll need the proper DIAG/PP2000 interface for yours.
The socket is behind a blanking panel by the drivers knee. Next to the cruise control arming switch or ESP disable switch (depending on when the car was built)
