Xantia rot spot
I opened the back door on my xantia and think i can see signs of rust towards the sill, I would like to save the area, so I looked at the bungs in the wheel arches and see they are looking past ther best, is there a recomended way to reseal the aea permantly to stop water ingress ?

It has been covered before. The area that has the common rot trap cannot be reached through the bungs.............spray through bungs anyway.
To reach the usual rusty area I took a seatbelt mounting off and drilled through the hole This lets you in to double skin with a can of waxoyl or a spray chain grease with a straw on it

Yes, but before you start spraying with sealants, you must make sure the area is dry, especially in the seams in the steel panels and then use a nutrealizer or rust inhibitor, like Jenolite. Once that has dried throughly, then spray with a sealant like Waxoyl.
If you do not dry the seams, the sealant will just trap the moisture and allow it to carry on delaminating the steel, thereby enhancing the corrosion.
