Quite a few of us on here do have this tool, I can only speak from experience about mine.
Mine does seem to read most cars, but there are a few systems on some cars that it decides not to read, weather this is due to it being a copy or a fault on the car itself is unknown.

I have found it usefull, in diagnosis on xms, xantias, c5s, and berlingos. So a fairly wide range.

I would advise ensuring that the seller has excellent feedback prior to purchase, and make sure you have windows xp too.

So far no problems :) Mine arrived from far east.
Here's a list of Citroen models, just to give you an idea.
Same HW can be used for Peugeot using PP2000 software.

Has the machine got its own screen, or must it be used in conjunction with a computer.

Lexia 2 has its own screen, Lexia 3 normally works off of a Laptop, or a desktop if you can get your car into the lounge

So Lexia2 is probably the most useful in my case. I expect it has all the functions of the Lexia3.

Yes and quite often a few more such as the automatic harness tester but generally they only go up to around 2004. The biggest problem you'll have with a Lexia 2 is finding one as they were only available from dealers or if you're lucky they occasionally turn up on eBay.

Thanks all. Reckon i'll go for the Lexus3, and borrow a laptop from another member of the household. Will save getting the car into the lounge
