seatbelts.

when i was working on my seat belts, i let them spool up completely. they now will not extend and seem top be locked all the time.

any ideas if this can be fixed?
why?

Have you reinstalled the reel? They are very sensitive to angle of installation.

yup - installed correctly.

I can get them to extend every now at then (like 1 out of 100 attempts), I'm was told afterwards that once they spool back they are fecked for ever, but that can't be right?
why?

I've had plenty that've wound right in. Never an issue refitting them, provided you ease the first bit out carefully for the shoulder keeper. Just to double check, you fitted them into the correct sides, too?

strange, as they were working before they retracted.
i'm sure they are on the correct side, and i did tease on out fully, but when it rewound, it still keeps locking every little pull out.
why?
