Fitted towbar this morning - found it surprisingly easy, for once! Some of the bumper screws/bolts are a bit awkward but, on the whole, an OK job.
Now for the electrics. I will only be towing a trailer, so 7 pins.
I assume I'll have to break into wires as appropriate - anyone done this, any advice/places to buy 7way loom and connectors. Any warnings?
Please?

I find Towequipe very reasonable for towbars and accessories.

That kit will have all you need- except for a grommet to take the wiring through the floor/valance and extra wire to reach the indicator (and possibly a tail light, I can't remember) on the opposite side from the main connections. I'm sure a similar kit will be available in local caravan suppliers and/or motor factors but some caravan companies are very pricey.
There is nothing out of the ordinary electrically to worry about on the Xantia.
