Interesting Citroen Wheel Design.

Post by Citroening »

Just had a thought (dangerous, I know!) about having a thread on here for wheels and wheeltrims that you find interesting and you like that Citroen have designed.

Feel free to add your own - here's a couple from me:

That's a start...

Good thread!

I like the three spoke wheel trims as fitted to early Synergies ...

Or the alloy version:

My favourites are Activa alloys and the MK1 Exclusive alloys that look a bit like Minilitites. 4 stud versions were fitted to MK1 Xantia Exclusives and a 5 stud version was fitted to S2 XM Exclusives...

The only problem is that they're a right pain to keep clean...

Yes, I would vote for the Activa wheels too, they suit the car very well.

My Activa has a VSX alloy for its spare, they are not a bad looking wheel either.

In fact Citroen have offered some very nice looking wheels and even trims .... S1 XM 8-)

Speaking of XM wheels, the 'wavy' one as I call it is absolutely awesome...

EDIT: yes, they're the ones the 'wobbly webs'....

And the completely flat ones I like too......

Series 1 Xm trims are a favourite of mine, along with series 1 CX trims in stainless steel.

I do love the trims found on the VERY early CXs. I'll have to dig a picture out of the ones on dad's N-Reg CX.

I believe they were only used for a short space of time too...
