power steering pump

hi guys.

i was just wondering if there was any difference between a petrol power steering pump and a diesel one.........ive found a synergie in the breakers yard but its a petrol model.not sure if its a hdi model or not and weather its a 1.9 or a 2.0.any ideas? cheers guys

HDI's are diesel,

if you send me the last 8 digits of you chassis/VIN No.

i will look up/compaire what is on your car to what is listted on a petrol version
