I have been asked to cast another batch of door mirror internals for the MK2 CX.
These replace all the parts that are known to corrode or snap and make the mirror assemblies much more durable as I use an alloy that does not corrode and is more malleable than the cheap, nasty items that Citroen originally used.
If you are interested in ordering these parts, either PM or send me an email and I'll send you more details.

Hi Andrew, nice to see you back on the Forum.
Yes, you're right, its the part that always snaps when the mirror gets clouted or seizes solid. Cost will depend on batch size as I have to buy in an ingot or two of the alloy to make them. Once cast, they get fettled and can then be used.
I have rebuilt quite a few now as they are used on other makes of cars.
I am also making moulds to produce the outer plastic cover and the trim piece, either ridged as per CX or smooth as per other cars.
I'll email you a likely cost.
