My 1999 Xantia Estate has started to sometimes makes a slight rumbling when turning right. It is not constant nor loud and feels as if it is coming form the front of the car.
Nothing appears visualy to be loose.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Malcolm

My experience with BX/CX are that rear wheelbearings cheats you to think it's the front that rumbles.
When turning RIGHT - your LEFT wheels have more load - then try lift rear left and turn wheel by hand. Any small rough feeling felt by hand while turning tyre/wheel is a sure indication.
If the brakes drags - you're in for some service work anyway.
