strange, i spotted it on ebay about a month ago but i missed the auction perhaps i got the reg wrong i know it was either p786 vwp or p876 vwp. was one of the best cars i ever had, the only prob i ever had with it was the clip on the clutch pedal, hope it hasnt been scrapped

No record of a car doesn't necessarly mean its been scrapped....

I had a car in 2000, a Mazda 323 Executive, a NON Fastback type unfortunally, reg number G27HFR...

I had to weigh the car in due to substantial rear end damage... however, the car still records as unlicence'd...

And another, with papers sent off to show scrapping, N108JHR, still comes up with Unlicensed...

So I wouldn't be disheartned too much if the details cannot be found...
