Locating pressure air leak in c5 hdi

Gonna really have ago on both cars this weekend. I have info to check vacum but what about leaky hose .

There's no hiss or whistle so what else can I as a numpty can I do to rule any leak in the hoses out?

A boost leak is often identified by a small misting of oil on a specific point outside the boost pipes or intercooler - could have a look for this.
Check all clips/clamps are tight

I reAlly need yo know my engine bits.

Took fotos of entire engine to stich together where I will try and tag everything.

I need to look at the intercooler.

Incidentally just a question. Not worth a thread. I read in what car at the doctors when reviewing the citroen c5 that they said diesels should not go over. 2000 revs. Mine does. It was doinf 2250 at 70 on way home.

"Should not" is a load of bollocks. It's best for fuel consumption to keep the engine revs as low as possible without labouring the engine but to put it in that manner is wrong.
