Reminds me I haven't done mine for this year.
About time I did really with the immense help I've had recently.
On its way now...

Overall the V6 is better Chris but you'll never better 35mpg from them however carefully you drive.Citroenmad wrote: Toby, im staggered at your Activas MPG! I thought V6s were better
An Activa on the other hand, can easily return high 30s if driven fairly gently on a long fast trip. I once got 39mpg from my old Activa when I had a completely clear run from Dover to home. That was M2/A2/Dartford/M25 and M1. One of those (very) rare journeys when there was no holdups at all and no roadworks...
My current Activa often returns 37 mpg between here and Somerset...
It's running around town that kills Activa economy far more than it does the V6...

On a run its actually very reasonable on fuel and better than I was expecting. Ive only checked mine a few times which was mostly local driving, about 25/6. With my commute which is mostly dual carriageway but heavy traffic it does about 28/9.
Ill check it over a long run and see how it goes, so I could expect up to 35ish, thats very reasonable.
So a V6 is the best town car and a TCT for the long runs, I could probably live with that
