Can anyone tell me what this is for?

I found this

lying in the bottom of a box whilst clearing the garage out.
its a Xantia part. I just can't remember why I bought it and what it was for.
If I can find out what it is, its going on EBay unless anyone wants it?
Thanks,
Chris

I have a perfectly good one here. One careful owner, requires slight attention to rectify a copious LHM leak but otherwise 100% good. £200 No offers...
