Dci immobiliser problem

Unread post by jgra1 »

hi all, a friend spoke to me on the weekend about an Immobiliser problem on his Dci van.. he is desperate to get it back on the road as it's his income..
A main stealer and another specialist have so far failed to get it running.. it's been some weeks now...

Is this van/engine something anyone knows much about? Would love him to get back on the road..
he is based in Brighton..

I will find out more details later..

thanks
John

All ~I know is its NOTHING related to Pug/Cit HDi engines! Sounds like the BSi could have thrown its dummy out..

if its a renault traffic it will be a broken wire behind the near side head light you have to remove the light to gain acsess to this , i have come across quite a few of these in my time , regards antz
