Citroen Zx16v
Just joined the forum today so I thought I would post a few pics of my Zx16v , I came across this after a fruitless search for a decent Bx16v, the car has had two owners , the first being Citroen Uk for 2 months then one lady owner up until I got the car last September , it's got a Full Service History and every bill and receipt for every job done on her , the car is totally standard and not modified in anyway and that's how she is going to stay , it's also fitted with the optional leather interior and aircon , since owning the car it's had a full service , the handbrake cables replaced , new battery , a k&n replacement panel filter in original airbox and also four brand new Toyo Proxes T1r tyres in the correct 1955/55/15 size , the only non standard addition I have fitted is an Alpine CD receiver with green illumination to match the dash lights etc , this is hidden behind a genuine Citroen radio adaptor/cover , this car is most certainly a long term keeper as they are getting quite rare now with only around 78 left on the road and in the region of 38 sorned , here's a few pics , comments always welcome ,

Great car the Xantia Td , used to do a bit of taxiing a few years ago and run one upto 176k with no issues whatsoever and another upto 240k with no major problems only a starter motor at 200k , my mate who worked at a Citroen specialist at the time said it drove better than some that had done 50k ! Great cars

I need the bumpers respraying but that's about it , the rest of the bodywork is really nice for a car this age , underneath is mint with no rust issues whatsoever , all that wants doing is the spare wheel carrier removing and cleaning and repainting , the spares never even been on the car , it's never been smoked in and the only wear inside is to the drivers seat bolster where it's worn slightly , it's a real gem to drive and handles beautifully without any bodyroll , I spoke to the previous owner recently and she said the car ran 100% in the 15yrs she had it , and was happy it had found a good home , she told me she wouldn't let it go to the scrappage scheme as she liked the car that much , and she px'ed it for a pug 207 to sit along side her Mazda Rx8 , that's not what alot would have done certainly , with some nice cars being lost to scrappage she certainly saved a cracker

The amount of beauties lost to the scrappage scheme really makes me angry, and I hope it never comes back - Our roads are filled with Hyundai i10s because of it...
That's a great looking ZX. I'm really glad to hear that it's staying completely standard, it's in good hands
Some pictures of the leather interior are more than welcome!
