Peugeot 407 tdi wont start

Post by Taffyrhys »

Hi all

I've just replaced the starter motor and it fired up great , now it wont start at all. As i turn the key it clicks and i can here the relays buzz but the engine is not turning over.
I've taken the starter off again and wired it up with the cars connectors and when i turn the key the starter motor engages and turns. I've disconnected the battery and removed the ecu fuse for 30 mins to reset itself but it still wont fire up.

Can any body help if not i will have to take it to Peugeot dealer and be ripped off.

Cheers

Yes i have turned it over by hand , i also filled up the exhaust with liquid to keep it clean as it came up on the computer. The spanner light is also on but i gave it a full service 3 weeks ago.

Cheers for the help
