Darren

Not sure how much electric window fittings change from a 1994 1.9td Xantia to a 2001 Xantia 1.8i Petrol, but I do have doors and windows from my 1994 car which I would be happy, if i can, to extract any parts you need which may be compatible.

If you could put up a picture of the bit you need it would be helpful.

Thanks

That's it - difficult to tell from the pic on the parts diagram, but it may well contain both. It's shown as a bit that looks similar to the rubber plug, interspersed between the regulator and the window. I'll try and post the pic from service.citroen later - their descriptions are not always intuitive

Hi darren,

Front disc's and pads are fairly easy.

One thing to look out for is the front caliper being out of alignment due to the build up of allloy oxide( if it were iron rust) between the caliper and the Hub.

You can check for this when the disc is off.

Raise car onto axel stands and remove wheels.

To remove disc first remove pads by removing small bolt and nut at bottom rear of caliper careful bolt is thin and can snap. Spray with WD40 or any other good loosening compound and leave over night. Once nut and bolt removed, remove spring clip and rotated part of caliper upwards and take out pads. Pull apart wire connection for low pad warning light.

Caliper are secured to Hub by 2 large torque bolts. Support caliper and move.

disc is held on by 2 screws into hub.Remove screws and remove disc.

Darren this is a brief description of the removal of discs and pads.
